Please feel free to download a copy below of the Terrestrial Vertebrate Fauna Survey Guidelines for Qld. These are supplied by the Department of Environment and Science, Queensland but are useful for all states and territories in Australia. 

This is a useful 117 page guide which gives a great overview of how to conduct a survey, from defining the objectives, scope, site selection, data management, biosecurity risk, survey methods - even how to write a final report!

For the sake of absolute transparency, Glen Curyer from our company is listed in the acknowledgements and was asked to help write the Thermal Imaging section. Notwithstanding that, it is still a great guide!
